boarding schools1Have you ever get an education in boarding schools? Perhaps you were spending the whole weekdays staying in your boarding school while you were a high school student? I always wonder how you felt while you spent most of your time at school, since boarding schools seem like a bit too exclusive for me. It feels like they put the students in a cage of continuous education, day and night. Not to mention their restrictions like light out time and other strict rules.

But I do have a friend who has just finished her education in one of the girls boarding schools in California. She told me that at the beginning she often missed her family, but over time, she was managed to better arrange her time to study and enjoy most of extracurricular activities with her school friends. Her boarding school has a lot of additional benefits for students either as education or recreational purposes such as library, gym, music room, and other facilities.

A friend of my parent send their son to one of military boarding schools far away from their hometown to make sure he gets the best education environment and a discipline attitude. So, I guess the decision to enter boarding schools depends on you and your parent’s consideration.
